About the Clinitians

Andrea Simons lives in Aubrey, Texas where she operates Simons Show Horses with her daughters Sara and Jam, They are leading breeders of APHA and NSB A Horses and train and show extensively, Andrea holds judges cards for AQHA, APHA, IvlSB A, NRHA, ApHC, PHBA, and FBI. She has judged the AQHA World Show and the European Championships as well as the Appaloosa World Show and the Palomino World Show. Other major events she has judged include the NKHA Futurity, and the FBI World Reining Masters Finals and International Reining. Andrea is a part of Team "Horse and Rider," which helps create new ideas for the magazine.

Laurie Hoopes Show Horses is located at Sandstone Stables, Ltd. in Amherst, OH, Laurie accepts outside training horses. Laurie is the trainer and coach for several Youth and Amateur AQHA competitors. Among her clients are AQHA top 5 Youth and Open Limited Riders for 2007, All American Quarter Horse Congress Top Ten Winners, All American Youth Show Champion, and the 2007 Congress Queen.

Training and Coaching is much more than just training horses or teaching individuals how to ride. Clients are taught how to work with and care for their horses. At Laurie Hoopes Show Horses we take pride in teaching clients how to maintain their horse’s training each and every time they ride, helping them to understand the hows and whys of true horsemanship.

Steve Meadows has been training horses for 21 years. He is an AQHA Professional Horseman and Judge. Steve is also a NSBA Category 1 Judge. Steve and his wife Becky are head trainers at Hylton Quarter Horses in Gainesville, Va. They specialize in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle and Over Fences, Western Riding, Reining and, Performance Halter.

• 2 PHBA World Champions
• 2 Quarter Horse Congress Champions
• 2 AQHA Hi-Point Champions
• 4 NSBA Hi-Point Champions
• Steve has also won every major western pleasure futurity in the USA

Jeffrey Pait has been a trainer for Cofrancesco Farms for 23 years.
